Kissing frogs

I was so excited that for the first time since I moved to Orkney I saw a frog in my garden today! What a wonderful, photogenic creature.

Welcomed my friend from Germany to Orkney today, who used to live here and has come back to visit.. Many tears flowed and despite not having seen each other for 2 years, nothing has changed. We went a run to Warbeth where the kids went swimming and we had a good laugh and a wee photo session with her new baby Emma.. who will surely get blipped in the next few days. I shall now enjoy the German beer she has brought me and hope for the day to end..
