Bank Holiday: DONE!

We went to "our" beach this afternoon. It had been raining heavily so it was pretty light on tourists. By the time we got there things were warming up again though.

I've missed the beach. And I've missed the space. And I've missed my husband.
We did our favourite walk and looked over at Baggy Point in the mist. The hedges were leaning under the weight of rain-soaked elderberries, the sheep were "Maa!-ing" and the dunes were steaming in the sun.

That's 20 August Bank Holidays we've got through now - as a family and shop owners. I took great long gulps of salty air and felt the weight lift from my head.
