August Bank Holiday

I know we all joke about the English weather, but really! After a glorious early summer it's now gone to hell in a handcart, and feels more like October than August. In the house I have surreptitiously put the heating on, and out in the garden Wild Edric is trying to shelter from the downpour under his own leaves.
