A faint glimmer

of sunshine, after nearly 24 hours of relentless rain. I know we've had a good couple of months of summer sunshine but a dry, sunny Bank Holiday isn't too much to ask is it ?

Mind you it's been miserable inside as well as outside our house today with 1st son and his girlfriend visiting following a wedding at the weekend where the poor groom threw up all day ! He has very kindly shared the virus and as his bride was heard to say "Maybe we took the ' in sickness and in health ' too seriously.....". Last count was 12 of the immediate wedding party now sick - including our house guests.

Mr H and I are protecting ourselves with alcohol.
