I planned to spend the day up the hills, and when Gordon was ill this morning that seemed foiled, but I adjusted my ambitions to suit my intrepid 9 year old and got up there after all. What a great day we had.

Cycling the tandem up from the coast where we live to Deuchrie Farm was fun, with the wind behind us luckily. Then walking out from the farm to the lower peaks fuelled with Sports Mixture and curiosity was fantastic. We saw deer, buzzards, kestrel, and loads and loads of... Sheep, crows, partridge, cows and clouds.

Back down to collect Katie from school and slump in our comfy chairs :)
