Bank Holiday Wellies

Have you any idea what all those symbols mean on the sole of your wellington boots? I am particularly fascinated by the clock! What does it all mean?

I actually purchased these in Venice a couple of years back when the City was flooded during our trip. The price in the morning was really high, and reduced as the water receeded.

A very wet August Bank Holiday is not unusual as its Reading Festival Weekend, and often the shops sell out of Wellington Boots. At least the campers will have been heading home this morning.......... with their soaking wet tents. Oh to be young and carefree!
