Lactaires delicieuses

These are Saffron Milk caps to you and I. I intend to have these for a starter tonight on toast. We did not find any boletus or chanterelle mushrooms today on the walk. Quite a few people were out mushrooming after the recent rain and a real mushroom expert could have returned with baskets full of all sorts of different types. We only have the confidence to pick the most obvious. The walk took us through woodland mostly, about 600 metres of ascent to around 1800 metres. I was not tempted to pick this Fly Agaric!
