Muir Woods

Muir woods is located in Marin County the spiritual home of mountain biking. the roads etc. looked perfect for cycling apparently! Muir woods is also the home to Giant Redwood trees, some of which are 1200 years old. I don't think the photo does it justice but the trees are so tall. In the woods we saw chipmunks, an owl and a woodpecker. It was a lovely place.
