Tarantula

You know how you just see something in the peripheral of your vision? I came home from breakfast after church and got a quick glance of something dark way up top over the door going into my house. When I actually looked up, this is what I saw. A (male) tarantula.

This is only the second one I've come across in the eight summers I've lived here. They're furry and creepy looking. Until it leaves, I have to wear a hat every time I come and go so it won't fall and get tangled in my hair. Yuck! I don't like spiders.
