Free Range

Free range eggs outside a free range farm on the way home from Loughborough.
An excellent bargain at £3 for a tray of 30.
I can proudly say I am 65 years old and in all my life have never knowingly eaten a battery produced egg( how exceptionally cruel this method of keeping chickens is )when I was a child my Dad had hens and also free range was the norm then at the shops and as I got older and did my own shopping I opted for free range no matter what the price.
But now with more and more free range the price is coming down and these were excellent value...
