MONO MONDAY: Recycling. Lucky dip
My Mono Monday entry of some of my tool boxes. The big wooden one was recycled by removing it from an abandoned car prior to it going to the car dump, the box would have been made out of left over bits and pieces and the old ammo box I purchased from a second hand shop. A lot of the old tools in the tin box were recycled when a work colleague and offsider Harry retired a couple of years ago and when he got rid of his Plumbing tools he gave them to me.
My late parents were great recyclers often going around the op shops buying junk and then giving it away as gifts. Mum would often bale us up as we were leaving to go home and say oh Marie would like this you take home for her won't. Mum and Dad had a real favourite the old skip bin out back of William Todds Auction Rooms this they called the Lucky dip,Dad often found enough copper off cuts and other scrap which enabled him to create some beautiful lanterns and other types of copper crafts.
