Day 6 Toms First Game.

We were invited to our friends for breakfast this morning. When we arrived Gary had made the most delicious blueberry cake which we had with a nice hot coffee. It was so good I could have eaten the lot. Then he juiced oranges for us...talk about spoilt. Then we had sausages, bacon, eggs, salsa and more coffee. To finish, they opened a bottle of champagne....what a breakfast.

Then off we went to watch the match. It was typical football weather....cold and wet. Maggie kitted me out so I was toasty warm. It wasn't the best game I've ever seen but Tom played well. The score was 1-1 after extra time. The top shot is the team talk before they went into extra time. When the game finishes the players line up and come forward applauding the parents and thank them for their support.

After the match we went to a bar with some parents and the football coaches for drinks and pizza.

Home early which is just as well as we have a bit of a road trip tomorrow.
