Oh it's just a gimmick I said, I'm not doing that, why can't people just give some money to charity without all this nonsense, bah humbug!

But then the sun came out, and I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad to do this with the rest of the family, hopefully raise the profile of Motor Neurone Disease and let friends (and myself) have a laugh watching the video.

My mum always helps at the MND Scotland FunRun in Holyrood Park that is coming up in September. She enjoyed the videos, but decided that she'd give the ice bucket challenge a pass and stick to handing out water at the fun run, rather than pouring it over her head.
