Cold Camping ....
...the purple heather flowers on the hills is a bit of a clue that we're into the final furlong in summer, but the sun was happy to make an appearance yesterday evening and again this morning. It was a cold night though and I 'm so glad we don't have to sleep in a tent on the ground now.
I slept late (must have been tired after yesterday's cycle) but when I rose, I was straight into the galley rustling-up bacon rolls, tattie scone, and mushrooms for the carnivores and something made from micro-protein for the veggie.
Nancy had to get back to Embra to continue her studies and an afternoon of homework and domesticity awaited for his nibs and I.
Bank holiday for some tomorrow (me included).
