Seafood taureen

Had a bit of a slow start today, due to a late night at a friend's birthday party, but eventually got out to the boulangerie and also had a look round the brocante which was in our village today.
I bought this great covered dish, is it a taureen? I'm not sure as I thought they were round and this one is oval, but anyway, it was a bargain at only 5 euros!
