Glut
This time of year everything comes at once in a garden. We went and watered the Community Garden earlier and there was a whole load of overipe tomatoes. Perfect for sauce making and well worth the faff of skinning and chopping them all. Onions, celery, pepper and carrots also go into my sauce along with a glug of red wine, oregano, black pepper and stock. Very good with homemade meatballs or just on it's own over pasta and also a great way to hide a load of veg ;-)
