D - Day

"Iceland has issued a red alert to aviation after indications of a possible eruption under the country's biggest glacier, the Vattnajokull. Seismic activity is continuing at the Bardarbunga volcano, about 30km away".

It was D-Day today in relation to the impending trip to Iceland as the hotel and flights had to be paid in full no later than midnight tonight. After reading the small print on the travel insurance it was good to know that I'm covered against earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
