School reunion

Today I travelled south to North Yorkshire to meet up with around 35 former school mates from the 1970s. One old "girl" hosted the reunion at her beautiful farmhouse just outside Northallerton.

We had a wonderful time: the food, drink and company were simply marvellous. I also had no idea just how much noise a bunch of middle-aged women can make when excited!

Half way through the evening one of the girls unpacked various items of school uniform for us to try on. I was one of the lucky ones who could still fit into the blazer (although I had less success with the skirt and summer dresses).
