Over 60's
What a lot of fun we had today with friends. Some deep conversation and a great deal of larking about like a bunch of kids.
I wonder if our own children would be shocked if they knew what we got up to.
On the way home, we encountered a horrible scene, where a large black dog was trying to kill a white and tan, woolly shepherd cross on a lead. A dozen or so other dogs tagged along for the show.
We chased with the car while honking, trying to distract the black dog to no avail.
Lots of people came out into the street and after much screaming the woolly dog and his owner were able to take refuge in someone's garden.
Both were in a state of shock but unhurt. Very nasty business.
The wasp was on an old quince tree that is dying.
