Eglinton Street again.

I passed this building, a former Commercial Bank on my way to church tonight. It is sited at the corner of the block which used to house the old Bridge street Station. Thanks to Glasgow City council's policy of mass demolition in the 1980s this area has been left without many of the buildings that made it a very elegant street at one time. The greatest loss was Alexander Greek Thomson's fine and lengthy Queens Park Terrace.
