Sofa with a view

Spent a large part of today trying to sew seat covers for the Chevy out of Mexican blankets. Made the mistake of trimming the fabric after sewing,it disintegrated . Made a botch job trying to patch it up, does the trick though.

Vladimir spent a large part of the day sat in the car, after a while he was joined by Toulouse. They really seem to like this car, ridiculous dogs.

Yesterday I went to a free motion quilting class near Milton Keynes with Tracy. It was in a back room of the shop where Tracy buys all her fabric. The woman teaching the class was called Sally. After every sentence and sometimes mid sentence she said ' Oright ?', I struggled to contain myself and kept mouthing ' Oright?' to Tracy, who was sitting opposite me.

She showed us a few basic patterns but had forgotten where she had put her helpful sheets of drawings, she said usually we could have taken these home to use to refer to , Oright ?

The two and a half hours flew by, I impressed Tracy at the end by sewing with my eyes shut , I'm a natural.
