Collar

Another evening rushing around. Another return trip to Ikea. They took back the fridge/freezer no problem and refunded me, however I wanted 5 drawers, to match the 5 drawer fronts I bought off them and to fit the 5 drawer cabinet I bought off them.

Their dumb Stock control system showed 3 in stock, with a due delivery of 1 next week. That's because the average sales is 1.4 per week. So every week they have 1 delivered. But they sell the drawer fronts and the cabinets to take 5. So I would need another 2 trips to collect all the drawers I needed. How stupid is that?!

I kicked off, and shouted a lot. I got what I wanted. (5 drawers delivered direct from their distribution centre FOC).

I came home happier.
