I made a raised bed!

It's there - behind the cardoon / globe artichoke.

OK, it's not actually full yet. One step at time.

But I made it ALL BY MYSELF and also then carried it out to the plot (mainly as my cordless drill/screwdriver is out of juice and I've lost the charger so had to work with the corded one) which was also an achievement. The right angles are thereabouts and it sat level on the patio, so now it's a question of getting the allotment level.... Screws are a bit long so a little bit of a hazard but good enough for a first attempt.

Had some advice in advance which helped but no hands other than my own - which are not looking terribly lady like after all this manual labour. I now own 3 different clamps. Apparently I could have made it without clamps but I couldn't see how. I'm sure they will come in useful for more making of things.
