Beautiful Lakes

Had a couple of days up in the Lake District, one of my favourite places. We visited Wast Water, as my friend Desiree hadn't been to that particular lake, and spent some time with the water and the amazing mountains there, Great Gable, Lingmell and Scafell Pike. There were children playing and paddling in the water, families relaxing on the shore despite the cold wind. Desiree is in this picture of The Screes, her red trousers stand out against the muted colours of the surroundings. The sun came and went, the sky did its dramatic thing with clouds - quite amazing.
