Style On Sunday

Toodyay, known as Newcastle between 1860 and 1910, is a town on the Avon River in the Wheat-belt region of Western Australia, 85 kilometres (53 mi) north-east of Perth on Balardong Nyoongar land.
The first European settlement occurred in the area in 1836.
After flooding in the 1850s, the townsite was moved to its current location in the 1860s.
It is connected by railway and road to Perth. During the 1860s, it was home to Western Australia's most recognised bushranger, Moondyne Joe. (Another story for another day)

We often drive out to this country town, which is where we went today, our middle sons partner is from this country town, her mum and sister still live here, Mark & Nadine visit family regularly here..
This 1970's Volkswagen Kombi van transporter was parked outside the coca cola cafe where we usually go when we are here.
I think the owners of this vehicle definitely have "style on Sunday"driving this around..
