Piggy in the middle

Down the beach this afternoon to see and take part ever so briefly in a water balloon fight tournament?! I was in it and don't know what was going on. Watching the kids have a go (they weren't allowed to enter) with the excess ammunition that we "acquired after our bouts, was much more fun.

So there were some character mascots there too. Here you see one of them taking a stroll. From what I understand, drugs are not easily obtained in Japan so I have to say fair play to whoever it was that conceived this mascot which is a pig with a fish on his head. I shit you not.

Might be something or another going up on Flickr in a bit. Took a lot of pictures of water balloons missing people or bouncing off.
