First on the beach

We were first down to Grand Greve beach this morning and the tide was out, there was so much beach, fabulous.

As we saw Ruby's plane dip down to land on Guernsey we made our way up the hundreds of steps to the top of harbour hill. Ruby (my goddaughter), Granny Helen and Grandpa arrived on the toast rack and Mum and Dad left on their boat back to Guernsey. Relaxing afternoon for everyone but obviously I got cabin fever and had to escape for a bike ride to The Avenue on the pretence we needed toilet roll. We had fabulous lobsters for dinner at Hugos, I want to go again straight away! My blip mother, GuernseyNic sent me a photo of my parents boogying away at her Dads birthday party. I was outside trying to take night sky photos in the first designated Dark Skies Island. All results hopeless as had left my remote control at home and 4 minutes holding the shutter open resulted in a bit of blur : (
