Another Day

Gladiolus Call Mu Acidanthera

That's a mouth-full, but it is very pretty. I picked up a packet of corms at a garden centre near Lord Falmouth's place in St Michael Penkevil, Truro a couple of years ago. It looks as though it towers above everything but it really isn't that tall and neither am I quite that short. I just thought it looked better against the blue sky.

It was lovely earlier on, so I had a turn around the estate back garden, which took all of five minutes. A gentle stroll of our previous garden could take up to half an hour, which was very therapeutic, but we do like it here. There was a muntjac deer in the orchard/parkland earlier on but it was too far away to get a decent shot.

I'm going to watch the Grand Prix on one of the TVs, probably the one in the conservatory, then I won't need to take the seasick tablets.
