Fine Finish To The Day
Well it was a fine finish as when I arrived in Newcastle heading North my fellow Edinburgh driver Nick was waiting to travel back to Edinburgh as he was booked to take my train to the depot when we terminated but being the good guy that he is he offered to take over as he had just done the wee drive to Newcastle one way as I had been to Leeds and back up here so I reluctantly jumped out the seat lol and made him a cuppa before grabbing this shot of the last remaining sunshine of the day out the window in the coach it was a strange weather day with spells of torrential rain a signal that was flashing all colours some fault that caused us to be diverted onto the down slow line from Tollerton to Thirsk causing a 5 minute delay in slower running anyway I got my train back to Fife then went to Tesco to get ingredients to make a Sausage casserole using Richmond sausages the Thick ones along with mushrooms, corn, onion, carrots, fresh peas and sliced grean beans and tesco's finest Elfe potatoes which will be peeled boiled and put through my potatoe ricer for a fluffy mash mmm so no doubt it will make me hungry smelling that wafting upstairs through the night cooking away in the slow cooker anyway off tomorrow as I'm up at 01:20am for a trip to Dundee early Monday morning and back and finished at 08:10am so a nice short shift but the hard part is getting up at that time groan ohh well now then movie for the day is "The Remains Of The Day 1993" See Ya
