Last man standing
At the end of a disused pier in Leith docks there's a statue by artist Antony Gormley. You can just about see it if you look large. Originally there were six of them, positioned along a two mile stretch of the Water of Leith, but four of the others have been removed due to "technical difficulties". They kept toppling over and drowning.
This one cuts a lonely figure, staring across the Firth of Forth towards the Kingdom of Fife. Why anybody would want do that I have no idea.
Update: I stand corrected - I've just seen an excellent reason to be looking across to Fife.
