Soap!

Today was the second round of soap making for my niece, Liz, and me. The red basket has bars from round one. We made 5 batches today, experimenting with different combinations of fats and scents in each one. We may have overdone the colors a bit.

The cardboard box in the upper left contains our first batch of the day. We learned on that one that temperature balance really is important. :-/ Hated to throw it away but don't expect it to set up.
It's probably time to take a break for a while. We have enough soap now to keep our extended families clean for at least a year!
