On the rocks

Our 45th wedding anniversary was last Wednesday, and although we'd remembered it was coming up, we forgot when the day actually arrived! So we decided to celebrate today by going for a long hike in Ruckle Park. There's a trail that we hiked quite a few years ago and I've wanted to hike it again. Hard to beat a few hours walking in the forest and along the coast on a beautiful day. Perfect.
We were so young when we got married, and we're among the fortunate couples who married young and are still happy together. Although we usually forget our wedding anniversary, we never forget the anniversary of the day we met.
