Ashdown House

In the afternoon Mum and I went for a drive to the Berkshire Downs to visit Ashdown House, a small house set in quiet parkland. After our visit to the house the light was just magnificent, highlighting the light chalk stone of the house against a dark and broody sky from some passing shower clouds.

As I was taking this sequence of shots the Red Arrows flew overhead, but alas I was not quick enough to include them in the shot.
