The mods return

On the south coast of England the 60s are remembered for the battles between the Mods,scooter riding smartly dressed youth and the Rockers their leather clad rivals.
Nowadays it is hard to imagine the hatred there was between them ,and on bank holidays they would travel down to the coastal towns of Sussex and Kent and set about each other.
Brighton this weekend ironically held a Modfest ,a celebration of 60s culture and music,on the seafront were some of the biggest rumbles took place.
This weekend no problems ,scooters,smart clothes and good music.
