" JUST THE TWO OF US "

This is us, chilling out this morning in the conservatory. Phoeb decided it was time to get to grips with Matthew, she loves him so much! And as you can see, Matthew was laughing, so we all laughed.

The day was very much as he wanted. Went down to Driftwood Cafe at Blue Anchor Bay where they do the best Fish/Chips in the area. Groan (more weight), they were delicious, then off to Watchet where of course he was hunting for more books. Sadly he didn't find any and I could see his disappointment but I had a back up plan. A fellow blipper had sent him a wonderful present earlier in the month and I had kept it back for such a moment as this. When we got back, he was delighted. Well done Maureen, you saved the day with your thoughtfullness.

The sun was shining when we got back so it had to be Pimms in the garden, with light jackets. Then a delicious BBQ tea, no wonder I am not the slim thing I was!

Now he is enjoying a DVD on Flying, F18's and helicopters.

So the Matthew weekend will continue tomorrow, whatever the weather. We are hoping to rehearse at some point either tomorrow or Monday as we are performing at a large gathering on Saturday. Happy music has been requested so that's what we will be performing.

Now it is very cold outside, and some plants will suffer. The Morning Glory hasn't flowered yet and it wont like being cold:(
