Highland Fling

Went to the Bute Highland Gamesl today with my sister and kids. It's on the Isle of Bute, a gorgeous ferry ride where I saw porpoises jump and green hills roll away to the more jagged Highland peaks to the North. And the light. The light on the land when the sun's out is a million shades of perfect.
At the Highland games we arrived to see these wee tartan bunnies hopping around. 5 hours later they were still springing from toe to toe like excited deer. A great day, and a great last day to share with my sister before she heads back to Spain early tomorrow.

And so to bed gleaming with sun kissed, wind chilled fatigue. To sleep perchance to rest.
