Curbar Edge, Derbyshire

This morning we had planned to visit an animal sanctuary in Chapel-en-le-Frith and I had hoped to blip a photo of a lovely otter eating my finger, or something like that..

The snow started and was progressively worsening as we headed over the 'tops'. It is never a good idea to be caught out up on the moors and so after a short consultation, we turned back and went home via Curbar.

The weather conditions gave the area around Curbar Edge a rather eerie feel. I jumped out of the car, took a couple of snaps and jumped back in the car as it was bitterly cold.

As an alternative to feeding otters and other animals, we went to see Youth in Revolt at the cinema. It is pretty funny and well worth checking out.
