Carnation revisited

I'm not generally a fan of carnations, perhaps put off by sad looking bunches in garage forecourts. However this carnation was part of a mixed bunch of flowers which I purchased and on looking at it closely for this blip I remembered what beautiful delicate flowers they are.

Feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep and an energetic swim this afternoon.

I've lit the wood burner tonight, summer is officially over!!
