DESK POSY

When we visited Sissinghurst many years ago, I was touched by the story that Vita Sackville-West used to collect a fresh posy for her desk every day, a tradition continued by the NT staff. I normally prefer to appreciate my garden flowers where they are growing, but today I felt the need for a wee lift and picked some of the bountiful cosmos to place on my desk.

The Thank You card in the background was left by one of our lovely visitors this summer, but it's my cheap way of saying thank you to all you blip folks out there who have continued to be kind, supportive and encouraging while I have been on another planet these last few months. Thank you so much.
