Finding Flowers

We had a smashing outing with Jen and Pete to Harlow Carr Gardens this morning. The reason for the trip was to find flowers which are in bloom at this time of year so that Tony can grow tubs to place at the Village Hall where the kids will hold their Ceilidh after their marriage next year. We came away with lots of ideas for flowers and I think some herbs and grasses will find their place too. The finished tubs will find a home at Jen and Pete's house after the day.

You can't go to Harlow Carr without lunch at Betty's so that's what we did. Soup and cheesy rolls was followed by the sharing of three yummy cakes!
