exploring II

this morning we said a fond farewell to Grandad and Grandma. Their help, company and advice has been invaluable and we're settled in the house sooner than we would have been without it. Time for us to start living here as a three. But before we do we squeezed in a visit from Em's Godmother, Auntie A. We haven't seen her since she visited us in Mystic two years ago. A lovely reunion with my good friend, Em was excited to reacquaint herself. This afternoon we visited Birkrigg Common, the highest spot closest to us with wonderful 360 views over Ulverston, the mountains and the sands of Morecambe Bay. Em was particularly taken with the sheep, as she really hasn't seen many before now.
