Somewhere...

Fantastic view of the rainbow this eve! A full double one at that! It went so wide that I only got it all in by using the panoramic option on my iphone. This one was taken from the living room window.

D started his swimming lessons this morn and while he swam C n I did a wee run. We returned home to find G'parents and Dad drinking coffee and making biscuits. I love the GB bake off - it has inspired A to make biscuits several times in the past week!
The rest of the day was a mix of sunshine and showers but we still managed to work in the garden (while my lovely MIL vac-ed the house). Trees were cut down, rubble moved, veg beds cleared, sandstone path grew, lots of shredding was done, the compost bin was filled and lots of tea/coffee and biscuits consumed.

The "good life" day was completed with salad from the garden with homemade quiche (known as broccoli and cheese pie to my egg hating children) followed by homemade treacle tart and custard, yum!
