Penne Arrabiata

Had to wake early this morning as a handyman was coming to fix some plumbing stuff in the flat. I was told 8:30 and well ready by this time, but he didn't actually come till past 9. Oh well... He did fix three things which have made me VERY happy. I do like it when things work as they should.

Discovered G had unpacked yesterday. Oops! :)

Took Pauline out for a meal/catch up and we headed for Wafi Biella, where she - for the first time - tried Penne Arrabiatia - a staple of mine, and really enjoyed it. G & I had a tiramisu dessert which Pauline couldn't join in as she is diabetic. However, a mention to the waiter about offering desserts for diabetics promptly brought out a plate of beautifully presented cut strawberries! How considerate. They have promised to look into it. There you go. Back to work tomorrow. :-\
