"Damn that television ... what a bad picture"!

So I think I have finally decided that I would actually like to work in the food industry in some way or another. Ideally I would love to be a food writer and / or researcher. I have been trying to get my food and recipes and website noticed in as many ways as I can so one of the things I did was send in a photo of some biscuits I made to the show The Great British Bake An Extra Slice. To my utter surprise and delight my photograph was shown on screen to over 2 million viewers! Unfortunately Jo Brand only said my first name and not my surname or website but I jumped straight on Twitter and put it out there that my biscuits were on the show. I got a response back from one of the contestants on the Great British Bake Off who had a look at my website and tweeted the details out to his followers. I was chuffed with this and so glad that I sent my photographs off to the show. So every week now I am going to be posting photos up related to the bakes on Great British Bake Off as it is a great way of getting my food noticed.
