The car of the SZOVJET regime

Here in Hungary we have a brand new magazine, called Retro Cars. Every issue has got an attached old car from the communist era. We have good feeling with lots of them as these cars were the only types that we could ever have. But this one, on this picture is an other one. This one is POBEDA. However this is a brown one, the black one was the symbol of the AVH, which was the Secret Service of the Rákossy Regime. Thousands of Hungarians were delivered by this type of cars from home and were never seen again in the 50s. It was never a good sign if this type of car stopped in front of your house... It could have been a nightmare.
