The Romans come to Caerleon

A fantastic weekend of Roman re-enactment awaits you at Caerleon Amphitheatre on 23rd and 24th August(us). Come and be part of it!
The Amphitheatre will echo to the sound of marching feet as the soldier’s display the weapons that made the Roman army the best fighting force on earth. Watch as the horses are put through their paces in the arena.
Enjoy a modern twist on ancient entertainment as we welcome free runners to the arena as well as fire eaters, jugglers and dancers!
There are plenty of ways to get involved as well. Talk to our Romans and find out what life was like as a soldier, a doctor or as a Roman lady.
And the best bit – once you’ve paid your entrance fee, everything apart from the food is included!
