Heavy read.

One of my favorite authors.

This series is set during the Baroque Period. It's a historical fiction with Natural Philosophers(scientist), pirates, and royalty. There are three books to this series and they run about 1000 pages each. Very intense reads.

I started it once. But just didn't have time for it. I'm making time for it now with reading for breaks from the homework and reading myself to sleep.

It's great and I'm glad to be tackling it again. I really think it would be an exciting period to live in. Figuring out that the operations of nature were not mystical but still magical.
