Vera the Lancaster Bomber

There are at least some advantages to living directly under the flight path into Southend Airport.

I was taken a bit by surprise when I heard the load roar of this plane flying over my house on Thursday afternoon and ran to the window so see what on earth it was. I didn't get a chance to grab my camera but I got another chance today as it took off for the next part of it's tour of the UK. It passed over with a British Lancaster and a Vulcan while I was out taking photos of the kids.
