Briefly In Scotland
The Daughter was due to go home today after being such a tremendous help to me. As we left town we called in to see The Mother so that katkatkat could say goodbye to her.
It has been good that this time Kat has been down home The Mother has shown great improvement, however, this morning, we were in for a surprise. The Mother was sitting on her bed, several feet away from the wheelchair, with her Zimmer beside her! She had made the decision to practice using it. She is being wheeled to the day-room in time for meals and then walking to her table unaided. What a difference!
The journey up to Edinburgh was uneventful. We had a brief visit to Kat's flat to drop off her luggage then we headed off to the hospital where she works with a lot of boxes of books for the library there.
That was it. We came home, stopping to take some shots here, before getting a "Fish Supper" in Biggar. The language barrier of Fish and Chip shops had been overcome!
Our last visit before the big vote. I have no passport. I hope the don't leave us!
