Turn Around.......

I read Katy 8's Journal of the 20th of August with great interest. Katy had been taking images when her daughter asked her to turn around. It's well worth a read and I'm so pleased I had taken it all in because this afternoon I followed the advice!

We had just been driving home from Katoomba and had been astonished at the cloud formations sitting over the Kanimbla Valley. I just felt it was an opportunity not to be missed. I raced out to Hargraves Lookout with my Sony and the tripod. My first inclination was to head right out to the point and I was happy with my shots, but then I turned around. I couldn't believe my eyes, to me it was a vision of biblical proportions.
The mist was rising from the valley and the cloud formations were unbelievable. I really didn't know where to look.

It has been an amazing day. I have to tell you if you've never seen a movie in your life, you must see this one. We headed in this morning to catch the 10.50am showing of "The 100 Foot Journey" starring one of our favourites - Helen Mirren. Honestly as I was walking out of the theatre I realised it was about time for the next viewing. I felt like turning around and walking straight back in, it's that good!!!
